my name is marianna. i like to take pictures to make up for the fact that i don’t talk so much. i think about destiny, family, love and oneself. 

 

i enjoy being present when i am making photographs so i tend to gravitate towards analog photography, specifically 35mm film. 35mm film is tactile and one is fully involved and responsible in the making of an image from beginning to end. 

 

‘’& remember, loneliness is still time spent with the world; Here’s the room with everyone in it’’. photography happened to be my medium of choice to let people know how much they matter to me, even the ones i have yet to meet.

i want to travel the world and make photo books about all the people i will meet. every single person has a unique story and i am interested in how that fact sets everyone apart and brings everyone together simultaneously.
